1. What is DigiCure?

This is a telehealth app that allows diabetic patients to avail online video consultation with their desired physician. Alongside there are numerous other features of this app designed solely for those who have Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes.

2. How does it work?

Patients can take online consultation from anywhere within Bangladesh. They can select a doctor that they like from a wide profile of doctors. The doctor will give consultation via video call. Patients can also get diagnostic tests done from the comfort of their home. The test reports, e-prescription all will be available under the patent’s profile.

3. What does it treat?

Currently we are only catering to the niche of diabetes patients, making us the first app in Bangladesh that is made solely for the treatment of one chronic ailment.

4. What are the features that DigiCure offers?

Our unique feature is live health monitoring, i.e. you will be able to upload your health data both automatically through our bluetooth devices or upload it manually, and a health care provider will monitor it constantly. Additionally there are other exclusive features like video calling, medicine reminders, diagnostic test services at home, lifestyle tips etc.

5. Who can use DigiCure?

The user base will comprise diabetes patients, their caregivers or guardians. As long as you have a smartphone, you can use it seamlessly.

6. Who provides medical consultation?

Only certified doctors who have at least an MBBS degree are going to give consultancy on DigiCure.

7. Are the physicians of DigiCure authentic?

Yes, all our panel of doctors are verified. We verify their license with BMDC, we also check doctors national id / passport to make sure the qualified doctors are getting registered.

8. Can I choose the doctor we like for consulting?

Of course. you can select any doctor who is registered in our DigiCure platform. When you search for a doctor, we will show you all doctors available during your desired time slot. Moreover, the doctors’ profile will be visible too for you to choose the one you like most. When you find the doctor you want to get consultation, you can choose that doctor to get consultation.

9. When are the doctors available?

The doctors are only available during the hours that they have mentioned on their profile. Before scheduling your appointment, please see if your doctor is available on your desired days.

10. How much do I have to pay for each consultation?

This will vary from doctor to doctor. All doctors may not charge the same amount. Please note that the doctor fees and subscription charges are separate.

11. How should I make the payment?

The payment will be carried out via our safe payment gateway. You can make payment online using Bkash, rocket, Debit card, credit card.

12. Are there any free consultations?

There are no free consultations, unless a doctor decides to charge 0 taka to their patients.

13. Does the subscription fee cover my consultancy fees?

No, these two are separate. The subscription allows you to access the unique features of the app, meanwhile the consultancy fees goes directly to the doctors only. You can use the diagnostic and consultation services without buying the subscription and just by paying for the services in use.

14. Will the data and information I share be safe?

We use an encrypted system across our platform and. We will store your information securely on our servers.

15. What do I need to do before the video consultation?

In the event you have access to these, get the following things near your reach: - thermometer / temperature - torch light / mobile phone light - Blood pressure / heart rate machine, get glucometer, your weight - Any other instrument that may make the consultation easy.

16. How will I get access to my prescription?

Once the consultation ends, you will find your E-prescription in your account. All the diagnosis and medicine details will be mentioned in it. You can see it whenever you want.

17. If the doctor assesses that my condition cannot be diagnosed through video call, what will I do?

Based on your condition the doctor will let you know immediately if your problem cannot be treated over video call. The doctor will guide you to the right direction if it's possible. In this case, you will not get any refund for the payment you have made.

18. Do you have doctors from foreign countries too?

We don’t yet have doctors from abroad on our platform. In the future however, you may be able to consult foreign doctors through us.

19. Can I use DigiCure if I am outside Bangladesh?

You cannot use the app if you're using any mobile carrier that isn’t situated in Bangladesh. However, if you register in Bangladesh and then travel abroad, you can use the app

20. Who ensures that the doctor will give the right diagnosis?

We personally analyse, assess and verify the authenticity of every health care provider available on our platform. DigiCure verifies each doctor. Every patient needs to make sure on video call that the profile picture is matching with the doctor on the video call.
