Robi to work with Apigate to open up international business opportunities for Bangladeshi content partners

Dhaka, 5 March 2019: The leading digital services provider, Robi, has formed a partnership with Apigate, the global new-breed Application Programming Interface (API) platform. The main objective of this collaboration is to open up international business opportunities for Bangladeshi content partners.

Robi’s Managing Director and CEO, Mahtab Uddin Ahmed and Apigate’s CEO, Zoran Vasiljev, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations at the recently held Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The bilateral agreement allows Apigate’s world-class ecosystem of international content and gaming providers to seamlessly reach audiences in Bangladesh while enabling local content partners to expand their presence globally to 3.5 billion users and over 110 Mobile Network Operators with one single connection using Apigate’s open-source platform.
