‘Poran Priyo’ – Robi’s love song for Valentine couples

Dhaka, 07 February 2019: The leading digital services provider of the country, Robi, has released an exclusive romantic song titled ‘Poran Priyo’ for celebrating the upcoming Valentine’s Day.

The song has been sung by an indigenous band named ‘F Minor’, an all-female band of Bangladesh.

The song has portrayed the love story of tribal people of the country. The renowned musician Partha Barua has worked as the music director for the track. Written by the band members, the song has been sung both in Bangla and Garo languages.

The music video of the song is now available in Robi’s official Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/RobiFanz/videos/2251506138430875 ) and YouTube channel. Shot in various breathtaking locations in Bandarban, ‘Poran Priyo’ is the first ever music video of band F Minor. The lifestyle and internet consumption behavior of the indigenous people of Bangladesh has been beautifully portrayed in the music video.

F Minor started their journey in October 2016. The band intends to represent the music and culture of ethnic people living in Bangladesh as well as to cover the other genres of world music. Folk music of ethnic communities works as one of the foremost influences for the band.

At present the band consists of five members — Pinky Chiran (vocal), Nadia Ritchil (guitar, ukulele and vocal), Gloria Manda (lead guitar), Diba Chicham (kajon) and Akiu Marma (keyboard).
