Shuttle recognized at the BASIS National ICT awards 2019

Dhaka, 29 October 2019: Shuttle, a fast growing digital start-up that offers transport services for the women has been recognized as the Champion in the “Inclusion and Community Service” category at the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) National ICT awards 2019 held recently.

As the winner of the BASIS National ICT award, Shuttle has been nominated for the Asia Pacific ICT Awards 2019 to be held in November in Vietnam.

Offering pick and drop transportation service to only women, Shuttle, runs on specific routes with specific pick-up and drop-off points on a fixed schedule. Currently, around 1000 women are availing this service everyday.

Shuttle is an independent business venture that came out of Robi’s digital entrepreneurship development programme for its employees, r-ventures.
