Robi launches IoT-based Smart Attendance Solution

Dhaka, 12 November 2018: The leading digital service provider of the country, Robi, has launched an IoT-based Telco Enterprise Solution- the Smart Attendance Solution.

Smart Attendance Solution is a complete end-to-end attendance & tracking solution, with a smart device that is able to make calls and send SMS to a select group of people.

Robi’s Managing Director and CEO, Mahtab Uddin Ahmed launched the innovative digital solution at the Robi Corporate Office. Robi’s Head of Enterprise Business, Md. Adil Hossain and Vice President, Enterprise Business, Zayed Sadat were present on the occasion.

Initially, the solution will be promoted in the schools with a view to keep the parents updated on their children’s whereabouts. Parents will receive SMS notification when their children enters and exits the school.

When they leave the school compound, parents will be able to track their children’s location via mobile apps. The smart device also has an emergency button where calls will be made to parents and their exact location will be shown.
