Robi brings digital electricity bill payment facility for WZPDCL customers

Dhaka, 12 January 2019: The leading digital services provider of the country, Robi and West Zone Power Distribution Company Limited (WZPDCL) have recently entered into a partnership to facilitate WZPDCL customers to pay their prepaid electricity bills using Robi’s mobile money platform, RobiCash.

The partnership allows customers to avail prepaid electricity metering service from WZPDCL. Customers can pay their bills using their own RobiCash wallet or by going to the nearest RobiCash retail point.

In presence of WZPDCL’s Managing Director, Engr. Shafique Uddin, Robi’s Cluster Market Director, Mohammad Hamidul Haque and WZPDCL’s Company Secretary, Abdul Motaleb, signed the agreement on behalf of the respective companies at Hotel Castle Salam in Khulna.

WZPDCL’s Executive Finance Director, Ratan Kumar Debnath, Robi’s Manager-M-Money, Muhammad Raquibul Basher and Regional Manager, M. Tanim were present on the occasion.
