Robi-Airtel unveils unbeatable offers in Corona crisis

Dhaka, 15 May 2020: As announced by Robi’s Managing Director and CEO at an online press conference held on Monday, 11th May, Robi has come up with a number of counter offers that in many ways surpasses the ones offered by the market leader recently.

Robi has introduced the best voice call rate in the market, offering 47 paisa/minute by recharging 47 taka only. Customers can avail the best call rate offer with 10 days validity period.

While, the #1 network of friends, Airtel, has doubled the validity of two of its’ 48 paisa/minute rate cutter offers. By recharging 24 taka and 42 taka respectively, Airtel subscribers can enjoy 48 paisa/minute call rate with 6 and 14 days validity, previously the validity period of these packages were 3 days and 7 days respectively.

Moreover, 19.5 million Robi-Airtel customers who have not been able to recharge their balance for last 30 days during lockdown, have received 10-minute free talk-time and 50 MB data. Robi customers have to dial *212*10# while Airtel customers have to dial *212*911# to avail the free minutes and data.

Robi customers whose main account validity got already expired or will be expired within 15th May, will enjoy extended validity till 31st May. Airtel customers who had balance in their account, but validity got expired by 5th May, their main account balance validity has been extended till 31st May. Robi customers can also enjoy 60 days of extended validity in their main account by recharging any amount between 10 to 99 taka.
