Robi-NSU ICT Innovation Quest workshop held

North South University Computer Club has successfully organized the second phase of recently launched Robi-NSU ICT Innovation Quest 2012. Mobile phone operator Robi Axiata Limited is the sponsor of the event.

73 teams from different Universities of the country consisted of over 305 contestants registered for the event. A workshop was held for the event on Friday at the North South University campus.

The Keynote Speakers for this workshop were Dr. Ashis Kumar Chakraborty, Director of Ayesha Memorial Hospital; Naveed Mahbub, popular IT personnel and Sarah Siddiqi, CEO of ExperienceBangladesh.com.

During the workshop, the speakers provided the participants with wide range of neglected situations and also gave them an insight of the current problems faced in the sectors of Health and Tourism in Bangladesh.

President of North South University Computer Club concluded the ceremony with several important announcements for the contestants. The next phase is the concept note submission on 1 September 2012.
